- Condom testers required by Durex
→
Durex has launched its first UK recruitment drive for thousands of condom testers. The condom maker wants a panel of 5,000 people who are single, married, or in couples to report their experiences of using its condoms and lubricants. Thought it was too funny, I wonder if they provide the girls as well, as they say sex industry has big money even for unemployed bloaks, if anyone winds up testing it out do report back to us the overall experience ROTFL #

- Port of Singapore Authority deal in Gawadar.

The petition against the award of the Gwadar lease to the PSA has been filed by the Watan Party (Party of the Nation) through lawyer Zafarullah Khan. It is the same party, which had filed a petition last year, against the manner in which Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz had privatized the government-owned Pakistan Steel Mills. After holding an enquiry into that petition, the suspended Chief Justice had passed severe strictures against the Musharraf regime. #

- Judicial Error - TimesOnline
→
Ever since taking power in 1999, President Musharraf has insisted that his goal is real democracy for Pakistan, which has been notoriously ill-served by its grasping and irresponsible political elites. All generals say similar things, but in the light of Pakistans history and social fractures it is hard to dispute the need to fashion civil and constitutional safeguards robust enough to guard against the return of a travesty of democracy, indelibly stained by feudalism, incompetence and corruption. #
