The Express Tribune goes Online & in Print
The Express Tribune, partnered with The International Herald Tribune which is the global arm of The New York Times, is slated to finally make its debut today morning, while the online version has just been released to the public, the initial launch is limited to Karachi and many households will be treated with a fresh new English paper on their morning tables. Personally I do vividly recall the launch of ‘The News’ in the 80′s when it came hot off the press in a spanking, then, jaw dropping glossy sheets across the board, but unfortunately those fun frolicking days didn’t last long. The Lakhani group has been busy on this project for a good many month, under the watchful eye of Bilal Lakhani we await to see if it does indeed rustle the feathers of the existing competition and has the umpf to last in the long run.
The paper kicks of its first print with op-eds from Ayesha Siddiqa, Sami Shah, Quatrina Hosain and Osman Samiuddin with news that Zahoor’s cratoon-imagery is too be featured amongst its pages. On a personal note, I am also expected to send the paper a weekly column, so lets see how this papers fares up against the competition, it will have run for its money, but good quality and high standards will keep a stead stream of readers latched onto its print edition.
I must admit that at first glance the online version of the paper http://tribune.com.pk is quite pleasing to the eye, compared to the confused mysticism found on Dawn.com and archaic The News website, I find this site easier to navigate, for which I can be sure credit must go out to Aleem Bawany whom I know is definitely a part of the core online initiative. Here’s to The Express Tribune for a long and fulfilling life in this journalistic world

I am challenging the job goals of all agencies and army men in our system. ISI , IB or others should act like brain of Pakistan.The people who are picked from such jobs should be fanatically nationalists but most of its top management is fanatically corrupt and dangerous to national stability.
After their retirement they are top lecturers of national interests to poor people like me or some start mission of spreading Islam and its teachings in Muslim community.I call it pre grave trauma which haunt them due to their sinful activities during time of power and control of state authority.

Reporting agencies collect such declassified reports for blackmailing individuals or for controlling their acts through their weaknesses.
Sometimes these intelligence agencies design such weakness as a snare in which bait is also provided through their sources to get the file of weaknesses in record rooms of agencies.
You and many like you officers have already presented open proofs of corruption and even accepted their involvement in corruption scandals.Anybody has courage to arrest them unless rulers want to make it public for some kind of maneuvering in political and social setup.
If it would have happened in any civilized state all such people even persecuted after retirement but in our setup such hidden reports are intentionally out from record rooms to divert the attention of masses toward some opposite direction or might be in revenge of higher class.

I cant pass the judgment on any department on the basis of inputs of any department but can comment on performance after seeing its output and repute in social circle.

There is a difference between a Chief and lower employee of any agency. Just curious! Do you even know what is the pay scale [and living condition] of Grade 14 Officer [or in case of agencies even grade 17 or 18 Officer], his perks, benefits, gratuity or provident fund after retirement or resignation. Top level is often corrupt in the Intelligence Agencies and by the way there are no Legal Arresting Powers with IB or even ISI and MI, therefore no public dealing [all the investigations/enquiries are to be conducted secretly and subject cannot be approached in any circumstance] so when there is no public dealing then no bribe [like Income Tax, Custom, Board of Revenue, Police, FIA and Rangers].

Terror and the harassment of the unions were enforced in the name of discipline. An internal security intelligence unit, the FIU [headed by Colonel Afzal involved in a murder of a labour Laiq Chandio and later appointed as Chairman Pak Steel by Musharraf because he was Musharraf batchmate], was also established and was headed by an army colonel. This notorious intelligence unit “discovered” that 1500 workers were a “security risk”. These workers were punished and removed from their jobs.

Steel mill existence is miracle in our system.Here no system of governance exists neither on technical side nor on management side.Whoever comes here to run it affairs he only shared illegal ways to fill his pocket.
I am simply telling you that gen quyum had joined PSM by the consent of Musharraf so how he pursued such FIRs against a dead man who was course mate of Musharraf and got this chairmanship just because of him.
Logic and religious laws are put on systematic and organized system and steel mill is an example of extreme disorderliness. This entropy like state shows ,its strong basic structure given to them through Russian technology and through vision of Bhutto policy that this industry with height of corruption record is still contributing in country civil structure.
Col afazal was not targeted only through specific mafia groups of PSM just because of his strict job shedding polciy but he faced worst kind of character assassination in this period.His friendship with an employee naureen was highly scandalized whom he made principle of one of school of PSM.Even his pictures were distributed in that vicinity to put him under pressure as much as possible.
In his tenure 15 people were burnt alive after failure of equipments in main furnaces and he also faced these charges too but he was saved from all curses as Musharraf was in his back.
I am no way favoring any body nor I think of supporting any corrupt and idle group who have destroyed one of finest industry of Pakistan.

CJP of Paksitan is making visits to many international institutes so this way he is agent of west in our land.I hope you have forgotten his one act when he torn off his visa papers while sitting in USA embassy Islamabad Here he had to wait for hours and hours for his interview for normal visa process.He was invited there to attend some seminar.After that he wrote an aggressive letter to that institute and ambassador of USA and in return he received apology from all of them.

Col afzal died due to hear attack during his job.
Before his sudden heart attack a month ago he banned the purchase the life saving special injection from steel mill hospital which should be instantly given to heart attack patient.So he got his attack in his office and when doctors were arranging for this injection from nearby he died.
People distributed sweets after his death.
The Musharraf appointed gen quyyum after his death.
Like PSM, POF has very bad repute of generals who run this industry like gen durrani, gen qazi and then quyuuum.So all people know the repute of these people.
Because of their extreme corruption I always say that RDX used in local blast were usually come out of this industry to kill its own people.
