Ms. Minallah is absolutely correct. The court must be reinstated to allow the rule of law to prevail in Pakistan.

I am absolutely opposed to the purchase of the PPP by the army throught the NRO. It is a bribe for support of the defrocked general, nothing else. Billions have been stolen from Pakistan, people have been murdered and now its kiss-and-make up for Zardari?

In the face of this sorry group of army generals and politicians, only the Sharifs stand out like the last principled glimmer of hope for the future of Pakistan.

Whether people any where in the world deserve THIS is arguable, some how it sounds too cruel. But it is sure that it looks like people in countries like Pakistan are trapped, always searching for a Messiah that will come and save them, and every time the box snaps open, there is the same godamm Jack in it. This business with restoration of judiciary (if that really what its purpose is) sounds like a good start because accountability has been badly lacking right from the start. People are so helpless, so poor and so ignorant. A Combination of variety of factors results in people repeatedly voting for proven liars, killers and thieves. I believe an idealistic honest person can not even be a candidate in that country, I think he/she would be simply killed by the opponent.
These sham election and this pseudo democracy don’t mean nothing because there is no culture of democracy and no democratic institutions. Frankly, a serious thought needs to be given to the possibility that this system (western style democracy) is probably not a suitable one for us.
I mean what do folks like the Mian brothers and Zardari have to do for them to be properly prosecuted and thrown in the jail and completely discredited once and for all?
How is it that they can reinvent themselves as new, improved, and more moral after having done what they did just a few years ago?
And more than that, what do these clowns have to do for people to stop voting for them?
What needs to happen for people to finally say enough is enough?
If military generals are an aberration, what are these politicians?

I am sure that if Benazir would have lived,she would also adopt same kind of tactics those are no being adopted by ruling groups.Its quite clear to us that our top leaders either come from the nursery of army mafia and come into market afer certification from US.US need Pakistan, its corrupt generals and politicans for its dirty games in south asia region.The awakening of public is not its goal and that is annoying them a lot.US friendship is creating disasterous effect on large population but no doubt benfitng small group ensuing mafia culture.Ghazala is absolutely right is her views and she has contributed alot in this justice movement that is actually the start of people power in our system. I wish our people would show some more wisdom and courage than nepalses and Burmese.

I strongly agree that “Compromised Reinstatement” would more damaging therefore atleast Judicary should above of all the compromises. People are dying for Justice.
