The PPP uses the urgency of resolving the people’s real issues (health, food, shelter, education) to deride the abstract notions of justice championed by the pro-judiciary movement - then goes and implements the whole neo-liberal package: GM foods and crops, defence budget to be passed WITHOUT debate in Parliament (against its own campaign promise), release of funds to all of Musharraf’s pet projects, flaws in current Local Government system not to be fixed and, worst of all, more begging from donor agencies.
