Welocme Aetezaz to Karachi. People of Karachi are happy of the warm welcome accorded to you. You are our hero and we hope that you will soon pay attention to the sufferings of the people of this great city who being oppressed by fanatics and ethinic goondas. Even they are not free to cast their votes independantly. Please do not forget what happened in Quaid's city Karachi on May 12, 2007. You must be well aware of the culprits and to whose camp they belonged. I hope that once the Pre Nov 3 Juiciary has been revived Insha Allah, Mr Justice Choudhry Iftekhar will pay attention to the May 12, 2007 carnage.

This is a binding upon judiciary and the lawyers movment. MQM is shouting against the revival of judiciary for the same reason as it knows that many of their leaders, specially then Interior Minster, may land behind the bars if indeoendant judiciary tookup the matter in their own hands.

Just for the record, Aitzaz came to Karachi on October 18 to welcome Benazir Bhutto, and was on her truck some time before the bomb attack.

Mr. Ahsan is clearly a brave soul who has high ideals and stands his ground regardless of adversity. He deserves kudos for demanding independent judiciary and rule of law.
Does anyone know how many of the PPP leaders (top leaders and MNAs/MPAs) showed up to welcome Mr. Ahsan in Sind?
