UPDATED: Mobile pictures - Benazir was defintely shot dead before the Blast
New Images updated below: Considering all the commotion and fuss created by the government of Pakistan saying the called that Benazir Bhutto was not hit by the three bullets but instead she hit her head on some ‘lever’ of the sunroof. Last night I was contacted by a person via Orkut who had uploaded these images on his profile (now he has taken them off) he was offering to share his video to the extent that he gave his cell number in Islamabad, since his dial up did not permit transferring this heavy file.
On contacting him today he claimed that he was a PPP supporter and his party had instructed him not to share this with anyone. Later when a news reporter tried contacting him, his cell phone was switched off. I have two images to share with you which were initially taken off his Orkut Profile
The first image clearly shows Benazir Bhutto standing upright in the car through the sunroof waving to the crowd
The next image is just after the gun shots which were fired from the left but moments before the bomb blast. Here we see Benazir Bhutto not on the sunroof of the car most likely already shot and injured slumped inside
I sadly do not have the original video, though I tried very hard to get it. A source was in direct contact with the cameraman who actually shot the video and later uploaded the screen captures to show that he means serious business. He claimed to be in the security detail with Benazir Bhutto was riding on her car barely five minutes earlier but had to jump off as she exited the Liaquat Bagh venue. He was finding it difficult to upload the 56MB video file online so was ready to allow someone to help him get it readily available. Today morning he said that his cell phone was ringing off the hook with people clambering in the hunt for the video, hence forth he turned his cell phone off and had even removed the images from his Orkut profile.

The third image in this series shows the crowd and the cameraman suspects the white hooded fellow to be the actual bomber
This last image is taken 15 seconds later after the bomb blast showing total carnage
One thing is for sure that she was shot before the bomb blast hit her and the shockwave had nothing to do with it (as speculated by the Government representatives. It must be noted that the Government of Pakistan or some tom-dick-n-harry agency has in effect scared away the cameraman from sight and he is no longer in contact, but I am proud to say that the truth will always prevail

Wonder Boy A cleanup of crime scene took place within 2 hours, All explosive residue was washed with high pressure hoses and chemicals were used to clean up the mess.
MB Lets talk about these pictures technically. Following are 3 cases in front of us:-
1. Benazir was shot & killed by the bullets (direct hit)
2. Benazir was killed by the blast (its shrapnel etc.)
3. Benazir was killed by some other object (the Sunroof lever as the gov. claims)
From these pictures (& to some extent the video ISPR itself showed) the 3rd case is clearly dismissed as one can see her going down before the blast. Why she went down will decide either case 1 or 2.
Now suppose if she went down to save herself and hit the lever i see no reason why she should generate enough force to hit the lever so severely that it cause a death. She was in no way a weak woman physically. Nor she was hitting the lever by falling onto it or the lever hitting her from top. It hit her side ways & this makes us easy to assume the hit-force was obviously not fatal. Its also proved by the fact that a human needs to hit the lever not just with power but with speed too & being a women her reflex action (that would result in creation of speed) timing could be more than a man would have. This all calculation assumes (to support the theory that she hit lever and died) that the lever was in perfect position for her hitting it ( the maximum possible impact position). The possibility of all the above possibilities (assumptions) coming true is almost ZERO. There needs to be a perfect calculation for this to happen. If that has happened (which only an INDEPENDENT INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION could verify) then indeed she died due to lever & not the bullets.
Even if so, the claim by government is still INVALID. There is nothing as the shock-wave power forcing her to hit the lever.
So in the end Case 1 is quite strong. The calculations and the videos/photos show there is no reason why she could have saved herself from being hit from that close. And there were not 1 or 2 but 3 bullets aimed at her. The chances of such a trained guy not hitting target from that close range are also slim.
In fact i would go to the extent of saying that the conspiracy theory would be when someone say she cold survive from such a range with 3 tries (to save the real guys behind, i.e the tail of ZIA).
Some views by the experts who make sunroof could be valuable. We should ask them if its theoretically possible for someone to hit & die like this & under what conditions & whats the possibility of these conditions being met in PRACTICAL WORLD.

I just remembered one thing. I have never seen a crime scened cleaned (washed ) with water like this ever before. Even if one person is murdered its not done ( i haven’t seen it even on TV/movies etc.). But immediately after blast the scene was cleaned.

MB Logic says, you conclude from what is CLEAR and not from what is NOT-CLEAR. You are asking about the shooter who is,just like majority of faces NOT CLEAR. Its quite easy to see the blurness obscuring the identification and also the fact that guy at the back of the LR and the banners obstructing the important angle & place where one could spot the shooter PLUS the distance of the mobile from the heads is such that even if the pic was not blur the HEAD of the shooter would be so small for him being confidently identified from others PLUS there would be no way to see the small pistol from that distance.
The second pic is a bit nearer one so i think if it was not blur we could at least see a hand going up for a try.
Anyways, like i said we need to ask experts on if a sunroof hitting someone could result a death considering the conditions in this case.

Basit I don’t know why you claim that “Benazir was DEFINITELY shot dead before the blast”. To me the pics are not conclusive. All you can rule out is that she didn’t die because of shrapnel.

JallM I too question the official version of events but I have to remain sceptical about these photos. As you can see the second pic shows the entire quicktime media player taken by screen capture, but the key one showing that Bhutto was not standing through the LR hatch does not. The assumption being made by those that provided the photo is that this one without her was taken after the shooting began. It would be easier to tell this if we have the time depicted on the media player screen capture, but we do not.
We see the shooter and Bhutto at 1:28. But without her we cannot know. It could have been before the shooting, just prior to her emerging through the hatch.
It is curious why the key photo does not have the time shown and we should acknowledge it.
So, ultimately until we see the entire video from start to finish or get to see screenshots with the entire media player, this really doesn’t prove anything I’m afraid.
JallM Quick correction: meant to say that at 1:28 Bhutto is not in the hatch, NOT that they were both in that frame as my initial post says. The shooting could have happened AFTER. We see a frame said to be 15 seconds after the bomb at 2:07.
If the 15 seconds time is correct (it very well might not be), this would give a total time of 24 seconds between the empty hatch (just before she emerges???) and the bomb blast.
According to Bhutto aides in the vehicle, the bomb blew just after she fell back through the hatch, which would be just about the time - if we accept the claims these photos make - of the frame 1:28 (the empty hatch). This means the supposed 15 seconds after the explosion would actually be 39 seconds after the bomb.
We need to see the entire video I’m afraid.

It shows shots being fired and Benazir falling into the SUV through the sunroof. I met her in Dubai about 7 yrs ago. At the Union Hyper Market (opp Safa park)Jumeirah. Before i could go upto her my little brother, abt 16 yrs old at the time approached her with a BIG and we-are-proud-of-you kind of smile and could only say, “maam i am a pakistani” she stares at him, and looks at him from head to feet, he repeated “maam, I am a pakistani” and she was abt to slap him! she just said (the normal arrogant self that she was) “I dont talk to stangers, leave me alone before i call the police!” and walks off. Pakistanis were shit for her. She had money, she had fame… she was just greedy for power…

Ali I respect the views of those who believe that BB was not shot. But I insist that you look at the video carefully again and draw your conclusions. The moment she raises her right elbow, her head scarf is seen lifting into the air and then she goes down. The wind effect of the travelling bullet lifted the scarf, thus causing her to fall after being shot. This clearly indicates that she was indeed killed by a bullet and not the roof handle as pointed out by the incompetent Musharraf regime.

The people of Pakistan seriously need some eye opening and consider the lives of those lost along with BB also worth mentioning atleast.
I sometimes dread going back to my country because of the people.. they are so self centered and so politacally wrong. Life has no matter. This is now what Islam is all about. No one has the right to take someone’s life… as a matter of fact Allah has even made suicide HARAM. Humans cannot even kill themselves :-)

What actually matters here is that the Govt is trying to get away from the fact that BB was assasinated, and they want to end all this up in a very simple way, and that is a suicide attack. Although they cant go away with this, as we have a proof that someone fired bullets at her, and someone blew away the mess afterwards. So in simple words, this time the Govt cannot get away by simply saying that it was a suicide attack, so they cannot investigate further. This time they need to give answers to questions like:
1- They have the picture of the person who shot at BB. Who was that person, where did he come from, how did he made it so close to BB. Is this the security provided to the most important political leader in your country?
2- We all know a weapon (GUN) was used at the crime scene, where did that weapon go? Now dont tell me that it evaporated because of the heat of blast just like an entire Boeing evaporated in 9/11 :)

Ali One assumption that hasn’t been challenged that much is this: Was it really a suicide bombing (after the shots were fired at BB)? Do we have forensic evidence? Just bcz that person in the images was wearing a white salafi-kind scarf, it does not prove that a) it was him, b) it was a suicide attack. The white scarf is not a sufficient proof to even declare him the prime suspect.

The shockwaves, in effect, have severe effects on the skull, wobbling the brain, causing it to suffer from potential hemmorage. This was also the case in the London Train Station bombings. Specialists showed exactly how shockwaves effected individuals who were killed.

Muhammad Umair well images supplied and then marked are contradictory. there is no celar picture of being shot. therefore hard to say whats the reality. Ye i accept there were gunshot but there were no images that thses gunshots hit benazir, as there is no clear evidence that what happened, as in picture and all video clear intact of shooter and benazir is not shown. Any ways only killing can make me to vote PPP as they have clear and long history of looting pakistn, but i can wish if there are some true honest people like quaid-e-azam which isnt possible at the moment as our young generation is prevailed by european culture they have almost nothig to do accpet time passing on phones and wndering around etc , and our system have gone to such an extent that our society environment is now favouring these type of killings, which is totaly wrong.
