Support Burma: International Bloggers’ Day

I think Burma is an easier name for everyone coz there arent too many syllables. Burma's official name is the union of Myanmar. Burma is the english version of myanmar and was changed by the military junta. a lot of people know myanmar as burma so i don't blame them for taking the easy route.

btw i did my bit for the 4th of oct.

Valid point - I see this problem more so since the event organization happens to be two German college students who have taken the initiative for this project - so I give them a little slack nevertheless.

A point I couldn't understand. If the name is Officially Myanmar why are we insistent to say Burma repeatedly :s

We as in most of the western media!!
