If Jinnah were in Pakistan?
Salman Ahmed has recently posed a very interesting question for everyone to answer and I feel its a real thought provoker, Salman does go on to ask everyone to participate and preferably write a 250 word answer for Junoon Forums The question is….
Without doubt I must concede that it apparently seems to be a very simple straightforward question but its depressing to note that, had if, Jinnah and the top leaders involved in the tireless creation of Pakistan were a witness today they would all have wept their hearts out, at the seeing the present status this country specially watch in utter astonishment how these present days leaders are running the country they worked so hard to build.
Please do strive to write the 250 word response, but even if you are not up to the task then I would request you to share your comments, be it of any length but our intention is to create a dialog and discussion.
@joseph brewser.
where do u get this kind of information from?
go and check teh British archives in london, Lord mountbatten wrote (expressing his frustration) in his diary
if we had known that JINNAH was suffereing from T.B then we would have delayed the freedom process.
simply they would have waited for his death then they could have achieved their goals easily, Jinnah was teh only person who CONFRONTED empire in a most LEGAL WAY, he didnt let UK to brand him a TRAITOR cuz he always FOLLOWED THE LAW.
Its a well known fact Jinnah didnt let anyone know that he was suffering from T.B.
it reminds me of an episode of the boondocks. lemme copy paste the episode synopsis here cause it would be easier than writing something on my own (yeah i am a lazy bugger)
The episode depicts a hypothetical scenario (alternative history) in which Martin Luther King, Jr. survives his assassination at the Lorraine Motel on April 4, 1968. In the episode, King goes into a 32-year long coma. King awakens to find himself alienated with modern black culture and his steady, sincere demeanor made awkward by modern forms of mass media. His popularity diminishes significantly due to his controversial opinions after 9/11.
Basically i can identify with this episode. If Jinnah were still alive he would leave Pakistan forever or just tell us to look at ourselves. If Jinnah were alive our society would have not suffered gravely. I guess we all need to learn a lesson from this episode.
Well i must admit that your blog is really interesting. The question of the post seems extremly interesting as well.
I feel that Jinnah wud have killed himself for sure regretting why he formed a country which would get ruled and dictatored by foolish and corrupted people

Jinnah would have shot dead those who while in India (as a rock band)declared that artist has no nationality,
well said. The artists were none other than Junoon members.
Wept their hearts out? No. Pakistan's founders would have gotten to work, enouraging their countrymen to speak out to the world as they have been, noting that the international community has already had effect in the press crackdown.
Then they would encourage the citizens to be optimistic, to always remember that the future of their country was in their hands, and to look forward to a bright future. They would not give up.
Insecticide,
who was that artist?
BTW, its our national tragedy.
Our leaders seek the blessings of some countries and our artists seek the blessings of some other country.
We are doomed!
If Jinnah was alive today , he would have committed suicide.
If Altaf Hussain's father was alive today, he would have killed Altaf with his own hands.
If Allama Iqbal was alive today, he would have been illegally detained and tortured in a cell somewhere.

had he been alive he would've been ashamed of his actions by seeing the muslims whom he promised to protect acttaully ended up being divided into 3 segments. Had he been to india he would've realised his 2 nation theory has no meaninig because there are more muslims in india than pakistan who are more educated than pakistanis and better off financially. Yes some staunch jinnah followers may point to babri masjid & gujrat riots but pakistan did far worse in bangladesh and what our great leader altaf hussain said is bitter truth that is hard to swallow
