For the past few days I have been receiving a number of SMS stating the following information
Age 64 & the Presidents of Pakistan Iskander Mirza ousted at 64
Ayub Khan died at 64,
Yahya Khan died at 64,
Zia Died at 64, &
Musharraf will be 64 in 2007 ???
I think its important to do a little research before such a false rumor is circulated throughout Pakistan and quite surprisingly its going through like wild fire. I just thought Ill post my findings for the sake of research

Ayub Khan died at 64 yrs of age FALSE – FACT (May 14, 1907 April 19, 1974) = 69 years, 11 months, 5 days

Yahya Khan died at 64 yrs of age FALSE -> FACT (February 4, 1917 August 10, 1980) = 63 years, 6 months, 6 days

Iskander Mirza ousted at 64 FALSE -> FACT (Nov 15 1899 – Oct 27, 1958) = 58 years, 11 months, 12 days

Fazal Ellahi – ousted at 64 FALSE -> FACT ( Jan 1 1974 – Sept 16 1978) = 74 years, 8 months, 16 days

Zia – ul – Haq died at 64 yrs of age TRUE -> FACT (August 12, 1924August 17, 1988) = 64 years 5 days

Pervaiz Musharraf will be 64 TRUE -> FACT (August 11, 1943 – Still living !!!!) but as of today (March 17th 2007) his age is 63 years, 7 months, 6 days
So lets not worry about the curse of 64 for Musharraf, he has already shot himself in the foot that we don’t need another curse to help derail him and complicate matters already gone over his head. Lets just sit back and watch

Great Work Doc ! A slap in the face of people who forward such trite without actually looking into it for once! Serves them right !
Let me further share some facts. Ayub was ousted by Yahya Khan in 1969 at the age of 62.
Yahya Khan was in office till 1971 – so left office at the age of 54.
Iskander Mirza held office from 1956 till 1958. so left office at the age of 59 and died exactly on his birthday at the age of 70.
Fazal Elahi Chaudhary held office 1978 – left office at the age of almost 74. Died at the age of 78 in 1982.
Zia died at the age of almost 64 (5 days excess of 64).
GIK held his office till the age of 68 (born on Jan 20, 1915 and held office till July 18, 1993), later died at the age of 91 on Oct 27, 2007.
ZA Bhutto was also president of Pakistan for some time and was assasinated at the age of 51 (1928 till 1979).
Other PoP are Wasim Sajjad, Leghari, Tarrar & Musharraf all alive.
Sajjad is 66, Tarrar is 78, Leghar is 67 and Musharraf is almost 64 (would be 64 on August 11, 2007).
