well, shoaib is an extremely hot player. akhtar should not stop playing.. h es one of our biggest assets.. and its much exaggerrated that all the allegations put on him and all.. he aint tht bad after all.. how’d we know what other players do, what match fixing they do ,a nd what other unneccesary activities they re up to ..

They got what they deserved. The appeal will be turned down. No one can refute the scientific proof that was presented in the test.

They would be cheaters if they had intentionally taken the drugs. But both players say that they didn’t. Nobody is trying to refute the scientific proof. They refused the B sample tests, right? So it is not about scientific proofs. It is about their intentions.

They doped and they should be banned. Thats the end of that.

I hope the PCB does not reduce their sentence in any way. The WADA clearly states that knowingly or not, if a banned substance is found, it is the responsibility of the player. Asif has already been given a lighter sentence. I am a proud Pakistani team supporter and would love. But the fact that they cheated….is not something I can swallow easily.

And Mr. Siddiqi, what does Shane Warne and his sex scandal have anything to do with cricket? That more of a public tabloid scandal. He didn’t penalized by the ACB, because they have nothing to do with how he acts in his bedroom.

the reason why planners are banned for taking performance enhancing drugs is that it helps them “perform” better and gives them an edge over others. that is considered cheating because its not their effort. sex scandals can not be considered as a precedent to banning someone. its true that the player’s name gets tainted but then a player doesnt get banned for what he did with some other person. there may be exceptions if the person did not have the consent of the other (rape). so in this case drugs arent good.

Truelife, yes do but Warne was involved in sex scandals and he was not banned from domestic cricket neither ACB ceased any kind of funding[that other thing shane has more stable than ASif].

and what do peopel say about Justice Qayum case. Shoudnt pCB reopen the file against akram and Co?
