President Musharraf and Karachi
Mind you Karachiites - whenever President Musharraf is in Karachi you are
bound to be cursing out loud and not simply under your breath. The
establishment is so scared that they block traffic both ways, my advice to
management is that it shall always be Allah’s will, you can’t do anything to
prevent it. You might deter the small crooks but the big fish will find a
way, and my gut felling is that it will be from an insider.
Until then Karachi can wait for his Royal Highness to attend his meetings, its cheaper to fly everyone to Islamabad then have Musharraf drop into our
city

Karachiites LOVE Musharraf!!
Simple because it’s his tenure under which Karachi has been awarded Billions of rupees for Construction of Infrastructure & Development. The Flow & cycling of Money can be visibly felt in the Economy.
I still remember Hakim Saeed, when he was the governor of Karachi…kept requesting President Farooq Leghari for money grants to build and approve Univeristies. The document went upto the desk of Farooq Leghari and he refused to sign it.
Later Hakeen Saeed himself approved few private universities as governor of Sindh. In which Aga Khan, Ziauddin and Hamdard (his own).
The government did not allow a Federal or Government University in Karachi. They were all Biased!!!
Now under Musharraf, they have approved 3 Federal ENGINEERING Universities for Karachi. Made with help of Foreign Colloboration; France, Italy and South Korea. Work is in progress over there.
So who is more sincere towards KHI and PAK??? Those that prefer living in London (Nawaz & Altaf) or Benazir (Dubai) or Maududi (who died in USA) or this Army man (who has fought 2 wars for PAK)????
Educated People can decide!
